Comfort's Easter Walk, a cherished tradition since 1980, invites participants of all ages to enjoy a scenic 5K or 10K stroll through the breathtaking Texas Hill Country in spring. This non-competitive event welcomes walkers to start anytime between 8 AM and 11 AM on Saturday, April 19th, beginning at Comfort Park and following a clearly marked trail. Along the way, a limited number of colorful eggs will be hidden, and lucky finders can exchange them for prizes at the finish line. To make the day even more enjoyable, breakfast and lunch concessions will be available.

Hop on over and grab some delicious goodies just in time for your Easter festivities! The Spring Bake Sale kicks off at 9 AM and runs until we’re sold out, so be sure to get there early for the best treats! All proceeds support the Comfort Golden Age Center and their mission to enrich the lives of older adults in our community. Sweet treats for a great cause—what could be better? 🌸💛

BINGO GAMES! Doors Open at 6 pm TO purchase cards @ $5.00/each. Games begin at 7:00 PM. Each game prize is $25 for the first 10 games, and a bonus game of Last-Person-Standing with a prize of $100! Comfort area Authors, Artists and Artisans are invited to come display--and sell--their work at this free to the public event. Everyone's talent will have its own table and will be displayed in the Comfort Backyard, while Comfort residents are reading for 12 hours from the Backyard's stage. Come out and enjoy the Spring Hill Country weather while shopping local talent and enjoying nearby food and drinks (spirited and non-spirited). There is no cost to either the public or to the displayers at the fun event brought to you by Comfort Public Library!

Kristy Battani, Sharon Kyle, and Hank Lumen: Join us to hear these three distinct artistic voices explore their individual creative processes of art-making—an ongoing journey of discovery, refinement, and reinvention. They will be available in person or via video to discuss their approaches, inspiration, frustrations, and joy in their own work. Light refreshments will be offered. Free and open to the public.

We will board the bus at Comfort Golden Age Center by 10:30 am to head up to the Wildseed Farm. Then we will go to Leroy's Tex-Mex BBQ and have lunch around 1pm before heading over to Luckenbach for some live music from 2pm to 4pm, arriving back at the center around 4:30pm. Cost is $10 per person, plus lunch. Please sign up by April 23rd.
