Nestled in the heart of Comfort, Texas, James Kiehl River Bend Park sprawls across 25 acres along the scenic Guadalupe River. The upper terrace features winding walking trails, inviting picnic areas, a wildlife observation blind, and more. Descend to the lower terrace, stretching along the entire length of the park with 1,634 feet of Guadalupe waterfront. This area is an idyllic setting for activities such as swimming, fishing, and launching kayaks.

In honor of James Kiehl, a Comfort native and Iraq War veteran, the park stands as a memorial, commemorating his service to the nation. The serene landscape and thoughtful amenities create a space for reflection and recreation.

The Ring Mountain Event Center is a 4,500 square foot multi-use facility available to rent for events and gatherings such as weddings, reunions, business dinners, baby showers and more. The event center sits on top of Ring Mountain at 1,756 feet elevation with beautiful 360 degree views of the Texas Hill Country and comes equipped with a kitchen, restrooms, grand room, patios and an outdoor bar.
