General meeting open to everyone. The meeting will begin with a short business session followed by our featured speaker, Mr. Lonni Childs, who will talk about the early Texas naturalists. He will share fascinating tales about the early 19th century naturalists and adventurists who traversed Texas in pursuit of scientific knowledge, many of whom came through the Comfort area.
